Fine Art Maternity sessions differ from your average outdoor sessions. They are classic, timeless, and evoke significant emotion. They have a painterly feel and they revolve around the beauty of the mother and her unborn child without any distractions. They tell a completely different story. They bring great empowerment and showcase how miraculous the female body is. This type of art gives the photographer the ability to execute more creative pieces that are to be appreciated primarily for our imaginations, aesthetics, and the intellectual content that we bring to life. Fine Art requires substantial skill and talent.

Fine Art Maternity sessions are a favorite of mine, as I get to unleash my creative vision and generate a mere masterpiece. There is nothing more fulfilling as an artist. Moms leave the studio feeling confident, powerful, and beautiful. Alexa is blasting music, the fan is blowing their hair like a vouge model, and we are laughing the hour away! I can not express enough the amount of fun we have. My clients get to let their hair down, slow down, and soak up the here and now, even if it is just for a moment. We always start maternity sessions with professional hair and makeup at Eden Health Spa & Salon located in downtown Cape Girardeau. We work with this salon exclusively and they always take amazing care of all my clients. Whether you have booked a maternity, newborn, or family session with me. This is always included because I just love to spoil my clients so much! I really want you to have the best experience you have ever had and make you feel just as beautiful as I see you! Typically around 3 weeks before your maternity or family session you will also come into the studio for a complimentary dress fitting and we get to plan your dream session together. This is where we will also talk about styling your other children too. I have tons of stuff available in my studio closet for everyone. We will also talk about what your husband should wear for the maternity or family session as well.

*Professional hair and makeup is included in all maternity sessions. Couture maternity gowns are also provided. Your partner and older siblings are also encouraged to join for a portion of the session. Session fee discount is available when you book a maternity and newborn session together*
