jackson, missouri newborn photographer | Mccoys newborn shoot
Where do I even begin? I have been photographing the Schabbing family for many years now. I was so incredibly excited when Haley contacted me and told me they were growing their family again! We did a maternity session and newborn session this time around that included the entire family. McCoy was the perfect addition to their family and it is very evident how much he is loved by everyone, especially his older siblings. I basically had to pry him out of big sister Austin’s hands haha. McCoy was a surprise gender and I have to hand it to the momma’s that have the patience to wait and find out at birth. I can only imagine that exact moment of finding out but my anxiety would never allow me to do it! The Schabbing family raise and show cattle so we had to incorporate a little cow bonnet and lovey into his newborn session. Haley even brought a cute little sign to display for that portion. He was born close enough to Christmas too so Baby’s first Christmas photos were a definite must! We did a little snowman setup and a gingerbread man. I love them both and so did mom!
I recently added a salon station inside my studio so that mom’s don’t have to go to the salon for their hair and makeup for their newborn session. They can come straight to the studio now and my assistant and I get started with the baby only portion while mom is getting her hair and makeup done by Hanna. Moms are just raving over this! Especially if they are breastfeeding, they can be in the privacy of the studio to nurse. I love being able to include hair and makeup for all of my clients. It really does take the added stress off of them. Haley showed up in her house shoes! That’s what I call a relaxed momma! McCoy was such a good baby and he did very well for his session.
We are currently booking February-July due dates! I have turned away 3 clients today alone because they waited too long to contact me for photos! Don’t let this be you!! The sooner you contact me, the better. I sometimes have last minute openings but this does not happen very often. I recommend contacting the studio as soon as you hit your 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Some moms even choose to book after their first OB appointment!
I can’t wait to get all of Haley’s artwork in from McCoy’s newborn session! They are going to look amazing and cohesive on her walls and go right along with her maternity session that we shot together in my Cape Girardeau, Missouri studio.
Our studio provides everything that you will need for your newborn session. We also provide couture gowns and fabrics for the fine art portion of your session. You can also choose to go more casual for the family/sibling portion of your newborn shoot if you want. Family and sibling photos are always included and even highly encouraged for your newborn portraits. This is a BIG milestone for the entire family!!
